The police have arrested a 26-year-old Pakistani man ?suspected of belonging to a global jihadist network which is preparing attacks in Western Europe,? including Britain, France, Germany, Portugal and Spain, the public prosecutor?s office said in a statement. He was under 24-hour observation and was finally arrested in Breda, ?to
prevent terrorist activities,? the prosecutor?s office said. The
authorities said there was no information he was planning an attack in
the Netherlands.
