"the MinE" is published and managed by ghanaMinE Intelligence Group. ghanaMinE Intelligence as a separate business entity supports all things strategic with focus on the Ghanaian mining and energy sector. 

With a core team of influential and reputed experts with specific area of specialization, the group has unrivalled understanding and knowledge of the Ghanaian mining, oil and gas industry and aides its clients in making better informed business decisions. 

 

"the MinE" is editored by  Dr Johnson Kwame Efavi, Mr Edmund Kwesi Hassan and Mr Emmanuel Edusei.  With degrees in  extractive metallurgy (BSc. Ghana), materials science (MSc/PhD Germany), MBA (UK/Germany) and more than five years practical experience on a number of mining projects in Ghana, Dr Efavi has spent the last 8-10years devoted to materials resource development as well as writing.  

Mr Hassan holds an MBA in Environmental Resource Management and a BSc. in Metallurgy. He has more than 8 years working and consulting experience in the mining and energy sector of Ghana. Mr. Edusei holds a BA in communications studies. He has practical working experience with GBC, various private media houses and has spent the last two years on natural resource writing.

 

Mission Statement

"theMinE" aims to build a comprehensive news and information resource for the mining and energy (oil-gas) industry of Ghana that provides a one point stop for industry news coverage, and a unique arena for collating the views of industry leaders, policy makers and organizations on substantive issues. Our concept of publishing is a model based on "really simple syndication (RSS)" and redistribution.  

 

The internet is saturated with news and information that finding relevant materials is becoming increasing difficult. Gathering and  filtering from this wave and delivering the relevant material to our niche-targeted audiences adds value to their professional time.  'theMinE' is constantly updated with selected content from different sources written by influential industry experts, leaders and specialists. These articles are researched and designed to foster diverse conversation on policies, programs and innovative management thinking that aid business and societal development.  On a daily basis, our latest news categories also provide a unique way for professionals to receive breaking news right on their desk.

 

"theMinE" opens doors to new businesses, help companies and private individuals dealing across the mining and energy sector to reach numerous potential partners and customers. It also strives to aid the job placement need of employers and employees. 

 

Revenue Model

The revenue model of the MinE is based on both sponsorship and advertising, much like a newspaper or magazine as well as donations. In future revenue will be generated through subscription and other business portfolios that will be developed along.
